PCL-MAL,Poly(e-caprolactone)-Maleimide是一种表面带有马来酰亚胺基团的可生物降解聚合物，PCL-MAL可以与表面含有巯基基团的肽、蛋白质等结合。PCL-MAL聚己内酯马来酰亚胺外观呈白色或类白色的固体或者半固体，这得要取决于分子量的大小，在取用时，从冰箱取出之后，放置于干燥处让其缓慢升至室温，现配现用，取用完之后充入惰性气体，及时放入低温环境，长期保存需放入-20℃干燥避光存放。大部分的有机溶剂可作为常用的溶剂。
