Polyethylene glycol conjugated with 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycerol-3-ethanolamine phosphate (DSPE). DSPE peg is a phospholipid peg conjugate with hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity. Pegylated phospholipids are excellent liposome forming materials, and can also be used for drug delivery, gene transfection and vaccine delivery. PEGylation of phospholipids significantly improved the blood circulation time and stability of encapsulated drugs. These materials can also be used for targeted drug delivery by modifying their surfaces with targeted ligands (e.g., antibodies, peptides). Dspe-peg-sh is an active phospholipid peg reagent with sulfhydryl group at the end of another peg.
DSPE (1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphoethanolamine) is a saturated 18C phospholipid, which is often used in the synthesis of liposomes. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) coupled DSPE is hydrophilic and can be used for drug delivery, gene transfection and biomolecular modification. The PEGylation of phospholipids significantly improves the blood circulation time and stability of capsule drugs. Sulfhydryl (dspe-peg2000-sh) and maleimide (dspe-peg2000-mal) at ph6 5-7.5 it is easy to form stable sulfide bonds, and mercaptan groups have high affinity for gold surface. They are widely fan used in the modification of gold nanoparticles or gold films. PEG modification can improve the solubility and stability, reduce the immunogenicity of proteins and peptides, and inhibit the nonspecific binding of charged molecules on the modified surface.
