Note: in order to obtain higher solubility, please heat the test tube at 37 ℃ and shake it in the ultrasonic bath for a while. The solution can be stored below -20 ℃ for several months.

Protein crosslinking reagent: DSG (bissuccinimide glutarate) is a water-insoluble homobifunctional N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS ester) crosslinking agent, which is usually used to couple radiolabeled ligands with cell surface receptors. NHS esters are the simplest and most commonly used reactive groups for crosslinking and labeling proteins and peptides. NHS esters can react with the primary amine at the N-terminal of the peptide and the amine of lysine residue to form stable covalent amide bonds and release NHS groups.

In some applications, crosslinking efficiency can be improved compared with DSS.
